If we could choose our top 3 places to foam roll the glutes would be one of them. They are absolute work horses of the lower limb and create so much of your power whilst providing much of the structural continuity into the lower back muscles. They can get incredibly tight, which is not always a bad things as that resting tone is very useful when it comes to performance. But if it has gotten to a point where you feel it is limiting your range of motion and you would like to feel a bit freer then foam rolling them is a great place to start.
