Something of an ever-present in circuit classes, mountain climbers are not the hottest of exercises but in terms of bang for your buck they are a really good exercise to understand. Needless to say you do not need any equipment to complete the exercise, just enough space to stretch out and its low impact nature can make it something may people can achieve. It is also a self limiting exercise, as your capacity improves the more foot touches to the ground you'll achieve and therefore, without extra equipment, always be able to push yourself to the levels you would like to go to.
